Divinyl benzene as a colorless liquid, easy polymerization, soluble in methanol, ethyl ether, flammable. Divinylbenzene has two ethyl-ene, copolymers can be generated when the three-dimensional structure of the non-melting polymer. Therefore a very useful crosslinker, divinyl benzene ion exchange resins are widely used from the exchange membrane, ABS resin, polystyrene resin, unsaturated polyester resin, synthetic rubber, timber, carbon processing .
